MYLÈNE BERGERON

Founder of Deep Flow and Main Instructor Mylène

Mylène has been immersed in manual and yoga therapies since graduating from the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in 1999. Her studies as well as being an avid surfer, world traveler and overall athlete has brought her to develop a unique and therapeutic approach to bodywork that emphasizes and promotes alignment through postural, emotional and breath awareness.

For the last 6 years, Mylène has been developing and teaching Body-Mind Integration and Deep Flow Massage curriculums for Rhodes Wellness College and at the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage. Her tangible, adaptable and engaged teaching style has generated a following of students who appreciate her progressive direction and vision for the field.

Mylène

Deep Flow was initiated as a result of her life and work experience and its recognition is now growing around the world. Mylène is currently focusing on training practitioners looking to reach people on a fundamental level, while working privately with clients willing to consciously take part in their own equilibrium. Mylène offers yearly continuing education programs in Costa Rica, with introductory levels being taught in Canada. She also maintains a semi-regular bodywork practice in Vancouver, Montreal and Costa Rica.

While her lifestyle alone is a source of inspiration to many, Mylène is known for her impacting approach to the body, mind and soul connection. She refuels in the ocean with extended surf trips around the globe along with her partner Sébastien and their son Sasha.

Dance, bodywork, and macrobiotic nutrition have brought Carina to see that health cannot be pinpointed to a part or a particle but is a delicate balance between all in-and-out parts working fluidly together.

Carina joined Deep Flow in 2010 for the first Level II training in Costa Rica and proved to be the perfect missing link, bringing students to experience and comprehend the anatomy body in complete integrity.

Carina is currently devoting time to bridge the gap between modern medicine and Yoga Therapy, aiming to integrate Yoga into the public health system. She maintains a yoga therapy practice in Montreal and is in the process of designing a 200-hr Yoga Therapeutics Program that is encompassing all of her life and work experience.
